Thursday in Venice... breakfast at Cafe Florian, lunch (on the promenade) of toast with tomatoes and melted cheese, tours of the Palazzo Ducale and the bell tower in Piaza San Marco... it doesn't get any better than this. Or does it...? In the evening, I was treated to an amazing performance of Vivaldi classics by Venice's reknowned orchestra. What a perfect cap to a perfect day!
