7-April-2002 (Sunday):
Sunday, Michael's friend Marco drove us from Milan to Madesimo in the Alps. We had traditional pastry and cappuccino for breakfast, followed by skiing the rest of the day, with a break for lunch. I'm very much a beginner, so I'm certain I slowed both Michael and Marco down considerably... especially since I couldn't find a slope actually meant for beginners of my level. Anyway, the drive up and back was beautiful, as was the skiing.
