Gretchen

5-Apr-97. Gretchen adopted me from the pound when she was about 5 months old. She's pictured here a few days later.

7-Dec-97. At 13 months old, she's settled down a lot and responded to training quite well. Happily, she's still very much a puppy!

28-Mar-2002. At almost 5 and a half, she's matured into one of the sweetest, most loveable dogs you could ever hope to know. She enjoys her regular beach outings with the pack, and loves to go for walks, runs, and drives just about anywhere.

28-Mar-2002. And here's a shot of both Gretchen and her partner in crime, Dude. Dude's 12 and a half, and just as vocal as ever.

2-Sep-2002.Gretchen's first rafting experience - she loved it!

1-Jan-2003. Happy new year! Gretchen contemplates the sunset from the cliffs above the Mendocino Coastline...

22-Jul-2007.Gretchen is now almost 11, and now she has a new sister: Lucy! A few days after we brought Lucy home, we took them to Stinson beach.

2-Sep-2007.Gretchen and Lucy have become great friends, and Gretchen has a lot more energy now that she's hanging around a puppy!

12-Oct-2007.Gretchen is a bit of a mother for Lucy.

30-Nov-2011. Happy Thanksgiving! Gretchen is about to turn 15, and she's jsut beginning to show her years...
